June Update (or Second Entry)

Well we have made some decent progress on our CC debt, however we are still paying the minimum on my student loan. The updated figures are as follows:

Credit card debt: 2,110.69 EUR (-1,912.84 EUR)
Student Loan: 9,041.00 EUR (- 203.72 EUR)
Total debt: 11,151.69 EUR (- 2,116.56 EUR)

Looking at the total amount of debt reduction I am quite pleased with our progress. I believe we are well on track to reduce our CC debt to zero by the end of the year, the trick will be keeping it there.

    You're making great progress. Any thoughts on how to keep the CC debt down? Might just as well plan for that too! Big Grin

    We actually moved appartment and had to visit some family pretty close on top of one another, which resulted in the high CC debt. However, now we're settled in our new appartment and have seen the family for another year, we do not really use the CC for any day to day expenses, so I'm pretty sure we will be able to keep it down.

    My aim however, is to have enough money saved up for these unexpected large outlays, but first we'll pay of the current debt.
